Birthday Celebrations for the Dalai Lama
Every year, the Community comes together with great joy and enthusiasm to celebrate the birthday of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and pray for his long life. The Community celebrated this year with dance, an art competition, and speeches by the older students on the lessons and inspiration provided by the Dalai Lama.

Painting Competition
On the occasion of the 87th birthday of HH Dalai Lama, students from primary to high school and gap year participated in a painting competition. The theme for the Primary grades was "Nature," for Middle and High school, "Happiness," and for Gap Year and adults, "Compassion."
Sharing Thoughts
The celebration starts with prayers in the morning, followed by some sharing of His Holiness’ life journey and purpose by Gen Lobsang la, teachers, and students.
